Labor Pensioner Dental Plan applies to self-funded retirees
$1000 Dental Plan for Commonwealth Seniors Health Card Holders
Self-funded retirees who hold the Commonwealth Seniors Health Card will benefit from Labor’s Pensioner Dental Plan should they get elected.
Labor’s plan will cover a range of dental services, including examinations, x-rays, cleaning, fluoride treatment and dentures.
The Pensioner Dental Plan will be administered via Medicare.
Commonwealth Seniors Health Card holders have seen the recent benefit of a $200 Energy Rebate available from July 1 this year, and a $250 Regional Seniors Travel Card that will be rolled out from January 1 2020.
With the expansion of the benefit of the Commonwealth Seniors Health Card, it is expected that already long application times will get even longer.
