What’s this seminar about?

I’ve spent more than 25 years helping retired Australians navigate the maze of aged care, Centrelink, super, and housing choices—and if anything, it’s getting more complicated, not less.

This session brings together my “greatest hits”: the trickiest areas where a few clear tips can make a real difference, the rules that trip people up, and my all-time favourite theme—“you don’t know what you don’t know.” These are the surprising situations where people either stumble or shine, depending on what they understood (or didn’t) about the system.

We’ll talk about:

  • Changes in aged care and how they actually play out

  • Confusing government rules (and what they really mean for you)

  • Missed chances and unappreciated options

  • Real-life examples of where things went wrong—or very right

  • The most common mistakes (and how to avoid them)

If you’re supporting someone older, thinking about your own plans, or just trying to make sense of a complicated system, I hope you’ll join me. You might walk away with one or two practical ideas to help you feel more confident, more prepared, and a bit more in control.
